Hammer Strength Urethane Bumpers are molded using a specific grade of urethane we import from Germany that gives us complete control over quality. Our blend is extremely resistant to abrasion, cutting and tearing, yet still allows for enough flexibility to protect flooring and will not leave scuff marks behind. This flexibility delivers low, controlled bounce on the drop. A specific surface texture is molded into the bumper to hide normal signs of wear and tear to keep your bumpers looking new.
The true secret to this bumper’s strength is the bonding process between the urethane and the inner metal. A proprietary bonding agent is used to chemically bond the urethane to the metal which keeps the two dissimilar materials locked together through all the drops.
The center hub is made from precision-machined high-grade steel then industrial chrome plated to protect against corrosion. Each bumper is colored for easy weight identification regardless of how your bumpers are stored. Finally, the weight numbers are molded-in to ensure they cannot be scratched or scraped off.
